What is the Forum area?
Forum is a bulletin board for artist and listeners. You can look for talent for your band or if you are looking for a band to audition for, you can find them here. You can buy or sell music equipment. You can start up discussion forums with anyone on a variety of topics.

Why do you need my Zip code to register?
When you register using your Zip code, you will be able to search your local area for bands and venues/clubs. We are trying to get bands closer to their fans and get the word out as to where you can listen to the music you like, live and close by.

How much does it cost for an Account on Sixty Second Hero?
All Band and listener accounts are FREE.

How do I login to Sixty Second Hero?
You can login by using the Artists/Bands Login tab at the top of the site.

I lost/forgot my password to Sixty Second Hero. What do I do?
If you can't remember your password to, click on the forgot your password link in the Login page. On this page, submit the email address you used to register and we will send you a NEW password for your Account via email.

I made a mistake while registering for my Artist Account. Can I register again with the same email address?
No, you can only have one account per email address. But don't worry! Complete the registration process and check your email for your account confirmation. Once logged in to your account, you can edit your profile and manage your content as much as you want.

I'm not receiving emails from Sixty Second Hero. Why not?
If you're not receiving emails from Sixty Second Hero, this may be due to your email security settings. On sites such as Hotmail, certain settings require you to add Sixty Second Hero to your Allow list.

I'm signed to an independent record label, can I still join?
Yes you can still join. Sixty Second Hero is a community for Unsigned and Independent Artists.

What types of songs can I upload to my Sixty Second Hero profile?
Artists can upload songs in standard MP3 format.

Why are my songs playing too fast/slow?
Songs that play too fast/slow are generally due to unusual encoding settings. Try re-encoding problematic MP3s with the recommended encoding settings (see above) and then re-upload them.

Why do my songs load but don't play?
Songs that load but don't play are encoded with unsupported compressions. Try re-encoding problematic MP3s with the recommended encoding settings (see above) and then re-upload them.

How do I transfer MP3s from a CD and/or another file format?
Try using Apple's iTunes for Windows or Mac. If not, do a search on Google for "MP3 conversion" to find another program.

Can I upload my favorite songs?
No you can only upload music that you are playing on as a musician or artist. DO NOT UPLOAD COPYRIGHT PROTECTED MUSIC unless you own the rights. The RIAA is openly pursuing people who violate this law. We can not be responsible for the actions of the RIAA or the people uploading illegal music. This website is for bands and artists to promote their music and their act to the public, it is NOT for illegal file sharing.
