Rigby Fawkes is a progressive/alternative rock band from Little Rock, Arkansas. The singer, pianist, and guitarist Daniel Moody is the younger brother of Ben Moody from Evanescence. Each member of the group has his own unique background in music with musical training in styles such as jazz, rock, metal, Latin, and bluegrass.
As a result of each musician's unique musical upbringing, these four guys have created a sound that has managed to incorporate modern rock and jazz into a unique blend of catchy progressive alternative rock music. The lyrical content of RF's music is often not so straight forward as compared to other bands their age, which can be quite refreshing in today's world of bands whose songs contain bland and non-inspiring lyrics.
None of RF's songs sound the same, and this is mostly due to the fact that RF pushes themselves to become better song writers every day. Collectively, Rigby Fawkes has written over 75 songs in their 3 years of life as a band, but only a select few songs were selected for performing and recording.
